Transport your classroom back in time with a lightly staged performance featuring two world-renowned St. Louis opera trailblazers, Grace Bumbry and Robert McFerrin, Sr. Professional singers will bring these ground breaking historical figures to life through storytelling, music, and conversation in a 45-minute in-person program designed for grades 4-12. Lesson plans keyed to state standards are provided. This program is especially well suited in smaller classroom settings.

Robert McFerrin Sr., the first black singer to perform a title role at the Metropolitan Opera
