Synopsis

A fraudulent medium, having tricked her clients in- to believing that they can communicate with their “dear departed,” is driven to madness and murder by her own growing fear that the dead can truly come back to haunt the living.

Due to the dramatic nature of Gian Carlo Menotti’s opera, The Medium, we feel that a more detailed synopsis would deprive our patrons of the impact of this thrilling work.
