On January 28, OTSL hosted Meet the Makers, an inspiring evening showcasing the bold new voices creating The New Works Collective and the future of opera. Audiences got an exclusive look at works-in-progress from three dynamic, multi-genre teams selected by a panel of St. Louis artists and advocates. The event featured thrilling musical excerpts, insightful discussions with WashU scholars, and conversations with the artists who are redefining the art form. It was a celebration of innovation, storytelling, and the limitless possibilities of opera.
