Is my gift tax-deductible?  

Yes, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization and gifts to the company are therefore tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Event attendance and membership benefits are subject to an assigned market value and may reduce the tax deductibility of your gift.

How can I make a Tribute Gift in honor or memory of someone?  

Gifts in honor or memory of someone can be made through Opera Theatre’s Tribute Fund. For each gift to the Tribute Fund, Opera Theatre sends a personalized notification card to the recipient of your choice.

How can I get a receipt for my donation?  

Opera Theatre sends an acknowledgment letter by mail immediately following each gift and a tax statement each January with tax-deductibility information for all giving during the prior calendar year.

What if I need to change or update my credit card information for a monthly gift?  

To change or update credit card information for your monthly gift, call us at (314) 963-4228 or email sbregenzer@opera-stl.org to schedule time for a call. For your security, please do not send credit card information by email. 

How can I make a gift of stock?  

Opera Theatre welcomes gifts of domestic securities and bonds traded on the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, or NASDAQ. Assets are valued by averaging the high and low price of the assets on the date of the transfer to Opera Theatre. To ensure a successful stock transfer, please provide the following information to your financial advisor:
