The GYA audition tour made its way through 7 cities this year, including Atlanta, Cincinnati, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Saint Louis. Of the 1,100 applications submitted, only 36 artists were selected, about 3.2% of applicants. This year also sees the addition of two new positions, an Apprentice Pianist and an Apprentice Assistant Stage Director. The artists represent 19 US states and 9 home countries, including the United States.
