Ticket Assistance

Please contact Opera Theatre’s Box Office if you have questions, require assistance with seat selection and services, or would like to purchase tickets over the phone. Our Box Office representatives will do everything they can to provide services to fit your needs. Please contact the Box Office by calling (314) 961-0644 or email boxoffice@opera-stl.org. The Box Office is open from 9:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Public Transportation

Catch a ride to the opera via Bus Route 49. It’s a 352 yard (0.2-mile) walk from the bus stop on Kirkwood Ave to KPAC. For more assistance planning your route, visit Metro St. Louis.

Parking

Free parking is available in KPAC parking lot and on the streets around KPAC. Additional parking may be available in the Greentree Community Church parking lot on Taylor Ave, approximately 176 yards (0.1 miles) from the theater.

Designated accessible parking for vehicles bearing valid Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) disability parking placards or license plates is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible parking spaces are located in KPAC’s East parking lot, accessible from Monroe Ave, and on the South side of Monroe Ave. Accessible parking fills quickly. Patrons requiring accessible parking should plan to arrive early.

For patrons being driven by others or using a rideshare service, the closest drop off point is the East entrance to KPAC.

The East and West entrances are both accessible. All sidewalks around KPAC have curb cuts to allow for wheelchair access. The path is flat from the parking lot and street parking to KPAC’s East entrance.  The West entrance is accessible, but it’s further from the parking options and requires a long ramp with a gradual incline.

Food and Beverage

All food and beverage must be purchased from KPAC. Only drinks with lids purchased from KPAC will be allowed in The Ross Family Theatre.

Opera Theatre strives to make opera accessible to all patrons. For more information or assistance, please contact the Box Office by calling (314) 961-0644 or by filling out the form below.

Accessible Seating

KPAC has accessible seating for patrons who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices.

Designated aisle seating with a folding armrest is available for patrons who would like to transfer to a theater seat. Patrons who cannot or do not wish to transfer from their wheelchairs to a theater seat should request wheelchair-accessible locations when ordering tickets.

For assistance selecting accessible seats, please contact our Box Office at (314) 961-0644 or boxoffice@opera-stl.org

Curb to Seat Service

Greeters and ushers are available before performances to assist patrons in getting from KPAC entrance to their seats in The Ross Family Theatre. If mobility aids cannot be stored safely within the patron’s seating area, or if a patron prefers to transfer from a wheelchair to a theater seat, those aids or wheelchairs will be stored as close as possible to the patron’s seat. At intermission and after the opera, ushers are happy to assist patrons to restroom entrances, concessions bars, the accessible parking lot, etc.

We strongly encourage patrons to allow extra time for their arrival as staff may be assisting others.

Accessible Restrooms

Accessible restrooms are located on the first floor, just off the lobby. On the second floor, accessible restrooms are located just past the right mezzanine entrance to The Ross Family Theatre. There is also a non-gendered family restroom on the first floor, just off the lobby and between the men’s and women’s restrooms.  All restrooms meet ADA requirements.

Elevators

Elevators are located near the Box Office on the first floor and near the Mezzanine Left entrance to The Ross Family Theatre on the second floor.

Accessible Programs

For all New Works Collective performances, patrons may access the digital program on our mobile app for use with screen readers and other assistive technology.
