Shuttle Van Driver
Position Description
Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’ (OTSL) Shuttle Van Driver is a seasonal, part-time position. They will shuttle visiting artists and seasonal staff to/from rehearsals, performances, and other events in a 15-passenger van. OTSL is seeking drivers to fill day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Shuttle Van Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Using good judgment and safe driving skills while adhering to local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Accurately reviewing the shuttle van schedule and performing the scheduled shuttle rides during their shift.
- Keeping a timely shuttle route.
- Monitoring shuttle van fuel levels and re-fueling the vehicle as needed.
- Maintaining communication with members of the Artistic Administration Department about the van schedule, shift schedule, etc.
Skills, Experience, & Qualifications
- Candidates must have or be willing to obtain a Class E driver’s license.
- OTSL insurance regulations stipulate the driver be a minimum age of 25.
- Experience driving a 12 or 15-passenger van is preferred but not required.
- All applicants must pass a background and driving record test.
Compensation
- This is a seasonal, part-time position.
- Compensation: $18.00 / hour
- Approximate dates of employment: April 27, 2025 – June 29, 2025

The company’s annual budget size is approximately $12 million; contributed revenue represents more than 50% of budget.
