Main Performance
THE BARBER OF SEVILLE

There’s a reason it’s one of the world’s most popular operas! Rossini’s sparkling score sets the gold standard for opera that is fresh, elegant, funny, and brimming with vocal fireworks. Delight as the young barber Figaro helps Count Almaviva steal the beautiful Rosina away from under the nose of her greedy guardian. St. Louis’s own Ryan McAdams (The Pirates of Penzance) conducts, and Michael Shell (Cosí fan tutte) directs a company that features Daniela Mack (Il re pastore) and Dale Travis (Daughter of the Regiment). Co-produced with Opera Philadelphia.
