Join the 2013 Opera Camp for Kids!

Young people entering grades 4-8 will spend a week singing, dancing, writing words and music, making instruments, and learning about costumes and makeup, lighting, and set design – all the things that go into Opera Theatre’s internationally acclaimed productions!  They’ll tour backstage, work with OTSL professionals and leading music educators and see a performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance.  Camp sessions are held from 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM daily during June 3-7 at City Academy and June 24-28 at Avery Elementary in Webster Groves.  Registration will begin in March 2013.  For more information or to receive an Opera Camp brochure, call (314) 963-4251 or email 251@opera-stl.org.
