Free Lunchtime Concerts and Lectures Begin June 4 as Part of Opera Theatre’s 40th Anniversary Season
The popular midday series A Little Lunch Music returns, and a new panel explores music and history at the Missouri History Museum.
The season also includes three classic masterworks famous for laughter, heartbreak, and stunning music: Puccini’s La bohème, Verdi’s Macbeth, and Strauss’s Ariadne on Naxos – and the second annual Center Stage concert.

In anticipation of the opening of its 40th season on May 23, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis has adopted a strategic plan focusing the company’s mission on artistic innovation, deepened engagement with new audiences, and growing civic impact. The plan, called Connecting our Community and Shaping the Future of Opera, was recently ratified unanimously by the Opera Theatre board.
